Description: | 
The Customer Service Representative is the day-to-day customer contact within the Operations Department. They communicate with customers primarily by telephone and email. They work closely with the Regional Coordinator to assist in the management of a specific geographic area. Their main responsibilities include: customer service, customer communication, order entry, truck appointment scheduling, yield/profit management, customer retention, and gathering market intelligence.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the following attributes in previous roles: leadership, initiative, problem analysis, planning, organization, and sound judgment. Experience in the transportation industry is helpful but not required. A degree from an accredited university or college is preferred but not required. Candidates should have an interest in logistics, transportation management, and customer service.
