Kirk Altrichter, Director of Operations – Productivity
With GTI since 1999

I came to GTI after seven years in the transportation industry and two years of working with GTI. The two years gave me the opportunity to get to know GTI and the great people that work here prior to coming aboard. My opening to GTI came after Steve Gordon and I conversed about a position that he was looking to fill. It was a tough decision to leave the company I was working for and move 1,000 miles to Seattle, but it was made easier by the honesty, integrity, energy and relationship that I had experienced while working with the GTI Team.

My prior experience includes security, customer service, MIS, computer programming, human resources, operations, maintenance, military and retail management. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

I have had the opportunity, at GTI, to become involved in a wide range of projects covering operations, customer service, maintenance, safety, regulatory, workers compensation, human resources, recruiting, MIS, payroll and more. This has been an educational and often challenging role.

GTI is a growing company with many opportunities for gaining experience and being a part of a great team. It is also a place where people come and stay. The family atmosphere is prevalent and everyone knows almost everyone else; pretty good for a company with close to 1,500 employees.
